Our story
From a henna table in Africa to a salon in Minneapolis.
Zia started as a henna artist at 14. She graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in Nashville with a Texture Honor, assisted a celebrity stylist, and in 2015 opened her own salon in Minneapolis's Karmel Mall.
After years of watching clients with curly, coarse hair fight with products that were never made for them, she worked with a manufacturer to create her own. The first bottles shipped in April 2022. Her clients told their friends. Now it's ZiaGlobe.
